Drawings, Winter 2012
creating tiny things while the baby sleeps
For Wisconsin, the winter has been mild, but personally, it's been turbulent. In turning forty-one, I have come to that place in my life where some dreams have ended and others are waiting, but I'm just not sure how to get there. I have ended some relationships, re-routed others, and am finding myself suddenly hyper aware of how quickly time is passing. I worry more often. I panic more often. But I also know myself more than I ever have ...
and I am happy here.
This body of work is the beginning of a new decade for me. It's my starting point.
Go.
